Valmet M78 rear sight parts break down

I’ve got an M78 that I think is missing some parts in the rear sight. The screw doesn’t adjust the height. There’s nothing inside there but the locking screw and the sight. The sight sits in the lowest setting and will move up but won’t stay. I’m specifically talking about the height adjustment not the distance. I can slide it up for further distances but I can’t adjust the height. Does anyone have an M78 they can send a picture or two of the inner workings? Any knowledge of the rear sight on this would be helpful too. My google-fu came up with nothing useful.

I did. I got four barrels QPQ treated. I would have preferred chrome lined but this was the best I could get. It’s running great.

I went to a Christmas shoot a few years back and let a number of people shoot mine. I think it took maybe 2000 rounds in two to three hours. That was the end of it.
