From a Russian sourced ww2 image of a surrendered German under gunpoint, Polish ghetto, were what I suspect is aluminum a widely used - known part?

I wonder if a BRP tube could be parts-swapped into being a Błyskawica. I imagine parts kits are hard to come by, since those production numbers are crazy low.
