Barrel Extention

I have been told that the Barrel extention for the MAC doesn't increase accuracy. What is it for?

Shouldn't make any difference in accuracy... It is just a tube... The bullet passes right thru it...

I would guess it uses are "looks" and some people use it as a safety measure like a fake suppressor to keep you hand from getting in from of the barrel... I would say it would serve more purpose on a M11/9 than on a Mac10/9. The Mac10 seems a lot more stable and a lower rate of fire...
