I just measured the bolt gap on my newly acquired SW5. It is .007" / .178mm. A bit small from what I am reading but I'll ask the experts........ What should I do?
Thanks,
Dave

The first question would be what size rollers are currently in your SW5?
Here is the issue with reduced bolt gap: as the bolt gap shrinks, eventually the weapon becomes a single shot with the action remaining locked...like a bolt action.
Starting bolt gap should be .018" with Zero rollers. I have attached a few pics.
I'm with Travarmy. The cheapest fix is to check your rollers first. Adding oversized rollers would be the easiest fix, if they aren't oversized already. Also check your locking piece. Sometimes a new locking piece will increase bolt gap also.
