IWI mini uzi (not imi)

So I’m looking for some info. Other than the one IWI idf mini uzi featured in the uzi examined book, has anyone seen another iwi mini? I managed to find this exact gun (was a torch cut reciever ) and reweld it to save it. I actually bought it before I ever bought the book. When looking through the book the first time noticed the serial. I don’t think iwi ever imported minis…? as they came well after imi. So can anyone help with the back story on this gun? And are there others here in the US?

Don't know the cutoff date when IWI was spun off from IMI and became it's own entity, clearly it was during a time when mini uzi's are still in production, but I just wanted to say that your weld job looks phenomenal....

Thank you! Yea not sure if cutoff date either. But I don’t think as far as my research shows iwi itself never imported mini uzis, unless possibly for law enforcement? I’ve never seen another

You're thinking of IWI US the US based importer, but In this case the IWI marking refers to the parent company in Israel, who manufactured and shipped this to an overseas agency, and it was later brought into the U.S. as a parts kit. IWI U.S. likely never took part in this transaction.

Yes I understand that. I wasn’t talking about iwi us. Just trying to see if anyone has ever seen another iwi mini uzi in the us. I have not
