Many Maybe possibilities with this.

Its been done already apparently (M2)

Its a very close copy and if doable a Bargain.

I feel like that's probably never getting built into a functioning firearm at this point.

So could you build a 1919 from it? Just like a sten can be a stenling?

if you look close.....it looks more like a 1919 than anything else.
Charging slot is off....there are so many varients in the browning family that are similar it could have been many different things. That slice of swiss cheese has some stories to tell I'm sure.

Looks like it's just that back part of the top of the gun. Weird place for a RR designation, but I guess no less weird than a 1919 side plate.

I'd guess it's not too far off from the dimensions of a M2 top plate

Think it came from Bowman's collection...was the theory.

Im thinking the new owner will keep it tucked away, on display at a museum or maybe looking for a way to fabricate it into a workable gun with other belt fed parts. Either way, it's a cool piece of history.

I'd call it an expensive piece of scrap metal. Hopefully the new owner is a wizard.
