Optic height for an FNC

I have an opportunity to pick up a transferable FNC for a ridiculously low price. It has the Stormwerkz rail installed. I am looking to mount an optic and am thinking about an ACOG or an Aimpoint Comp M2 (have spares of both). Both are on standard AR height mounts.

Will the AR mounts work or will those be too high?

Those mounts are too high in my opinion (regardless if you’re running a fixed stock or folder). I’m using an Aimpoint Patrol Rifle Optic (PRO™) Red Dot Reflex Sight (w/ QRP2 mount) and really like it. It looks the part and is a solid unit. It’s still a bit high for my liking but not bad.

I just put an aimpoint right on the rail. I didn’t use a spacer or riser, just the qr low mount.
