pre or post????/

I purchase a intratec scorpion 22 s/a (same as the tec 22). The dealer told me it was pre-ban but the barrel is not threaded. Any help would be appreciated thank you.SERIAL NUMBER 0033X which made me think it was....:heavy

Some of the first ones didn't have a threaded barrel they started building the scorpion's in 1988 and added the threaded barrel versions from 1991-1994
1995 the changed the name to sport-22 to comply with the '94 ban.
so make sure yours doesn't say sport on it

I LOOKED IN BLUE BOOK GUN VALUES AND IT SAID THE SCORPION WAS MADE FROM 88 TO 94

SAYS "TEC-22T THREADED BARREL VARIATION OF THE TEC-22"SCORPION". MFG 91-94

SO FROM WHAT I GATHER THE ONLY TEC THAT IS NOT A PREBAN IS THE SPORT-22
