I'm writing to share the praises of Competition Electronics Chronographs.
I was developing some subsonic .300 Blk reloads and rushed outside before it got too dark to test them. In a hurry, I set my ProChrono Digital Chronograph on top of a barrel, backed off ten feet and started testing. Shot number six things went stupid - I shot the dang chrono case! Parts went everywhere but circuit board looked okay. I boxed the parts up and called the manufacturer, just hoping.
Luck #1. The lady answering spoke English and was in Illinois
Luck #2. The chronograph is made in Illinois ( not Red China!)
Luck #3. She said sure, we repair them all the time from guys shooting them, send it back
So the next week, for $48 including shipping, I'm getting my chrono back. I told the nice lady I wold post this story on the gun boards I read to help keep a good American company in business.
