AR-15 to be modified into an 11.5" SBR. Right now I can't justify an M-16, and the prices are skyrocketing. I never really lusted after the M-16, but I do think they are great rifles. I figure a true Commando style AR with all the "evil" bells & whistles will suffice enough to fill the M-16 void that will forever haunt my collection.

Thhat way I can save more money for all the SMG's I've wanted since I was 11 years old! ;) I still need a NIB P.S. M-10/9mm to round out my MAC collection, and an MP-40. I tell myself I'll be able to sleep at night by that point, but we all know the MG bug never leaves once it gets under your skin. :D

I'm thinking an AR10 carbine with collapsable stock and an evil bayonet lug. Oh, the compensator has to go. Must have flash hidder.

If the assault weapons ban goes away, what guns are you going to buy?

I've always wanted to get one of those Shiloh Sharps rifles chambered for .45-90. With a Creedmore sight also. Yeahhhhh!
I can't wait till that ban dies.

I'm going to trick out my Bushmaster with a collapsing stock and a preban upper (SBR?????:D )

Maybe a flash hider and folder for my AK.

I've seen a drop in Preban prices, people are getting worried and not wanting to lose all their money.

Hicaps mags? Definitely! The prices there for awhile were just plain insane.

Your eyes are weary... your eyelids feel...

heavy...
You will sleep now.... & when you awaken.....

The AWB will be just a fond memory! WOW... imagine all those sweet Armalite AR-10s with the collapsible stocks... SR-25K style for a mere fraction of the cost of an original 1 of 100 Stoner :)

It's usually @ this point that I suggest people watch the movie: "THEY LIVE".

The AWB WILL Sunset... but get ready for massive de-facto registration of ALL firearms under the guise of an AMNESTY. Ya know... to *correct the NFRTR* & all. Homeland Security issues will dictate this policy. Expect new semantic rulings on just what is "sporting"...

Private/civilian ownership is under attack... make NO mistake about it! IS the gun *evil* intrinsically or is it the mind of the *shooter*?

I'd suggest that if you need to complete your collection... you had better get with it & very SOON!

Wake up & smell the... KOFI.

What would you guys do if there was another amnesty similar to '69. Would your parts kits suddenly grow receivers? Would those wall hangers with the 80% receivers miraculously fall to the ground complete?:angel3 I doubt it.

Just dreamin'

I can't say what I would do if there were an amnesty. I would be more than happy to tell you about it after the amnesty was over because then I would have amnesty.

Here's an idea lifted from Larry over at full-auto.com:

About 2 months before the AWB sunsets, I file the Form 1 to SBR my V53. It will acquire a A3 stock. The nicely threaded barrel will get a German flash hider and no, it won't be permanently attached.

(from full-auto.com):

The gay fake suppressor won't go in the trash can (Vector had to cut oval holes in it so it wouldn't be considered a flash hider!). Instead, I can have it made into a vibrator and send it to Feinstein. Clearly she isn't getting any male comfort.

Oh, and I'll get Beta Mags for my MP5

Vector V53 with Flash hider (just for looks). Beyond that everything else I want (other than high cap mags) would need the import ban to disappear. Might put a folder on one of my AR's but the ban restrictions never really bothered me beyond the cosmetics. Guns shoot better w/out the Flash hiders, I always have the stocks extended while shooting, and my AR's are still pistol gripped. The only gun it really hurt in my opinion is the AK's, they just don't look right with a thumbhole. I would love an Aug, HK93, and 91 if the import ban dies.

As far as C3 goes would love an SBR FNC auto with the folding stock. That might be my next C3 purchase if I don't get a nice AK. However the AK is looking better and better.

It is a shame when I was too young to afford anything that I could legally get it. Now that I am able to afford them all the guns I want cost a ton b/c they are all C3.
