So I was calling them trying to get a refund, and of course no answer, or call back. So I've started the process of reversing the charge on my credit card. Should be done by the end of the week.

I did the same thing last week. Not sure how long it'll take, but it's in the works. The only reason I did this was lack of communication on Calico's part. With voice mail & e-mails not returned, I felt it best to back out.

I'm sorry to hear of Calico not performing. It hurts our trust.

Like I said before, "If Richard Lage can put out an excellent product with no upfront money other people can also".

Richard has already proven, if you put out a good product you will have more business than you can handle.

I will be interested to see if anything happens with Calico as the refunds go out.
Last weekend I picked up my new SWR Spectre that I bought just for this upper.
I am going to hang in there.

I'm curious to know how many orders they received payment for.
If it was 100+ orders at $1K per order, that's a lot of money, especially if they have to start giving refunds. I'd rather have the upper than the $1K, but with the lack of communication, I'll take the $$$ now and wait for the product to hit market later.

Yep, me too. I filed a complaint with the BBB. They said they will contact Calico to try to get my $$.

One more thing. I urge all of you that haven't yet to e-mail the better buisness bureau at bbb.org and tell them of your troubles. And those of you that have, please post the outcome.

I filed a complaint a couple weeks ago with BBB. I gave Calico an option of sending me the items I purchased or a full refund. They did not respond so on the fifth day after sending my 3rd request for the refund I filed a complaint. The BBB emailed me for more info and then they said they would check into it. I also told Calico in my last email that if I had to pursue legal representation I would be going for more than the 100% refund, I will want interest and collection fees as well as any moneys out to obtain the refund. They sent me an email asking me to be patient and understanding. I wonder, what about a class action lawsuit against Calico??

He worked on the prototype of the 9mm calico mag-fed upper, for Len. Then it went to Calico. That's probably why he was first in line for the 22.

I have tryed to call calico for over a month now. I have called 20 times with no response.

I am no longer holding my breath.

I am selling the mags to fund my lage upper.
