Yep.... The movie takes place in the 70s. When the early SWAT guys used S&W 76s. Pre-MP5 years....... :)

Set in the '70s?
Isn't that a US Kevlar helmet... that appeared about 1985?

I also saw one of my "favorites": When a revolver cylinder is swung open, spun, and it goes zzzzzziiiiiiinnngggg like it's ratcheting.

But it does have Robert Duvall and a S&W 76, so it has possibilities at least.

Another oldie but goodie.......and a personal favorite of mine is seen here too. I believe when the cops enter the club you see an officer with an AC556.

The Kevlar helmets are definately an anachronism however. Military didn't have them until the mid 80's and SWAT cops didn't have them until a few years after that.

Looks like it will be a pretty cool movie though.

All,
Real cool to see the SW 76 pop up on the screen!
Also, to feed your needs:
Check out the movie-'The Omega man' for plenty of SW 76 footage and also another older movie with Lee Marvin-'Prime Cut' (I think that's the title) with some cool SW 76 useage.
Trying to think of where else I have witnessed the 76 on the screen.
Let me know any other films it has showned up in!

In the 2nd Dirty Harry movie ("Enforcer" I think) one of the "bad" moto-cops shoots the people in the pool with a S&W 76. One of the victims is a naked girl with nice ( o )( o )....................

I am sure RoverDave know which Dirty Harry movie I am reffering to..... :)

Anyone remember the comedy "Hot Stuff" with Jerry Reed and Dom Delouise? A truckload of M-76's with 200-round magazines! :lol Prety good shootout action at the end, especially for a comedy.

If I recall, the 1970 Blaxploitation Film, Cotton Comes to Harlem may have had a S&W 76 cameo or two.

The Dirty Harry movie was "Magnum Force" . Charles Bronson movies with the 76 were "The Stone Killers" and "St. Ives". Not sure on Mr. Majestic, I never saw it. In Taking of Pelham 123, there are 2-3 76's in it. Good movie. Another good movie with the 76 is "Band of the Hand". I really enjoyed Hot Stuff and the Omega Man. Several 76's and Swedish K's in "Invasion USA" with Chuck Norris.

As for tv series........Miami Vice (2-3 episodes), Tour of Duty (season 3)
