I purchased a MAC 10 and the SN is C 573. I've never seen a SN like that. Any comments are welcome.

The prefix on mine is B. I wonder if there is a source for information?

MAC MAN book, tells all.

RPB used letter prefix serial numbers; as I can best recall A=.380, B=9MM, C=.45

MAC MAN book available from machinegunbooks.com
Hardback lots of color pictures. Covers all MACs, accessories, history, serial numbers, prototypes, supressors, factory pictures etc.

Co-author was the MAC historian lots of cool vintage photos!

I continually forget to check my MAC MAN book when I have questions. Thanks for the reminder.
