do you think they are actually going to deliver some of those?

rumor has it that shipping has started. I requested a refund earlier this year, received it, and don't regret it.

A few guys on on other boards have reported getting theirs and having them run flawlessly.

Vegas SMG you have a lot of patience!
No I don't. :rolleyes

Craig Wheatly also mailed invoices asking for payment in full and stated his intention of "immanent delivery" two years ago this December.
It was 12-18-07 to be exact, but hey, who's keeping track of time...

Mine arrived and it is a thing of beauty. Invoice date was 12-20-05.

Nothing hacked together. Everything was precision machined. Just need to get it on a '16 and see if it works.

He should have asked for more money do to the fire control parts being open bolt IMHO... I would have gladly paid.

Assembled it, loaded the drum it came with, and fired it.

Three stoppages. Just pulled the charging handle to clear and fired on each of them. Using Dynapoints.

I'm happy. Very little tweaking (if any) needed.

I may buy one, but it wont be from the manufacture Ill buy it second hand and avoid giving them any cash. I dont beleive in doing business with companies that jerk customers around.

I paid in Full on the second day of the SHOT.
I think it was in Vegas '05??? Heck I don't know.

It runs great, CCI Mini-mags and Win superx2's.
Next weekend we'll try the tupperware tub with the oddlot ammo.

I am glad to see these are trickiling out , cant wait to add one to the stable once they are an instock item .

I still dont see the logic at tech branch that makes my m11-180 upper a post sample and this one not . Other than the firearm they fit they are identical in operation and design

refresh my memory. do parts have to be swapped out each time the upper is installed? What lower parts need to be changed?

I think thats the downside of the open bolt approach for the m16 , its not a push pin swap , your tying up a $10k host , with a $1500 upper to create a $7000 am180 . Pratical aspect aside I want one

The AM15 fires from an open bolt. That requires changing out the fire control parts in the lower including the autosear.

So it won't work with a RDIAS or LL only in a registered receiver. Many dropped out when they found it wouldn't be plug and play as originally advertised.
