Thanks guys! Glad you enjoyed it. Maybe sometime this month we'll have the entire gun up and running with it's bipod underneath.

JJ,
When the Gatling fires does it fire at the top of the stroke or bottom?
I thought on the bottom since it would then eject down, but the wooden
block you have holding the gun up would have been chewed in half.

(the block is in front of the gun)

Tripp, check out vid on post #362. You'll see it fires at about 3:00. Just under the right hand side gull wing. It ejects at 6:00 and feeds at 11:00.

And I start drinking at 5:00.

Little Bro,

I like your edit to vid #4. :thumbs_up

I did notice something a little peculiar in that vid. There were only two Bush beer cans under the gun and no cooler in sight. :beer

Damn I love this project. Grab Little Bro and drive down the road. Come to a stop sign, "Hey this looks like a good place to try out the new toy!" "Hey! watch my beer!"

Too much fun!

Ok I see it now. :allright

Question?
How's the barrel extensions working out?

Hey I saw a round magazine that looked like a doughnut on an 1874
Colt. It was brass plated sheetmetal or copper but it looked bad ass.

Sure would look cool on your Beast!

The barrel extensions worked great! I haven't shot a group with it yet but I think they are all in a 2' area at 50 yards or so. The mag you saw was called an Accles drum. Not quite sure how they worked though.

Ed, please don't give bro any bad ideas.....He has enough on his own. LOL!

I couldn't find any description of an internal mechanism. Could just be a compact gravity-fed hopper type magazine.

Accles drum

OK.

It's sorta a drum.

Inside sometimes 3-5 Curved mags.

You'd shoot and when Empty you'd have to cycle all 6-10 barrels again and then the next mag starts feeding.

I have a blown up diagram of one around here... even more complicated than the actual gun.

Ok...I concede defeat! I thought I knew of surviving footage of JJ's 12 ga. Gat-gun.... Appearantly, I was wrong. After over six hours of rummaging throught tapes, I failed to come up with some footage. I'm sure some video evidence still exists, but I'll have to dig deeper in the wells of documentation to find it. Wish me luck....

Little Bro,

It would be a little quicker if you didn't look through all of JJ's boxes of VHS porno tapes first. :roflmao
