Thanks bro!

You like the shirt? LOL!! I'm working on the blueprints for the tripod now.

It took 3 hours to download the 2 minute video. Does anyone know how to download to youtube quicker?

Yes, cable.

I am on cable with the local the local cable company... cable tv, phone, and internet. Time Warner Cable (Roadrunner).. and a modern DELL (coming up on 2yr old).

I concur, cable would be nice. Our local ISP is upgrading to fiber optics this year. That will be a big help. But, you gotta keep in mind, this is the same village that just installed indoor plumbing in the Town Hall last spring......

Fantastic, guys! Can't wait till you get that puppy mounted properly and sighted in so we can see some bullet impacts. Excellent work!

JJ I wouldn't worry too much about the Indians Custer had a Gattling gun and was so confident he never took it to Little Big Horn with him.

Here's tonite's progress report.

Here are the bushings I cut earlier on the lathe. I have cut them in half and welded the wings on them that will br drilled and have the tightening bolts attached. I like using irrigation well oil tubes for this cause they are threaded and when attached, they can't slip out of the housing if you want the bearing grab to be loose. A regular bushing could just slip out.PS 216.jpg

Here we have them dressed up a bit and mounted awaiting the addition of the yoke which will attach underneath the bottom half of the bearing assembly in the above picture.PS 218.jpg

Here we have the front and back halves of the yoke. These are 3/16" thick. I will bend a piece of 3/16" steel to the contour of the yokes and weld them solid along the edges and dress them up and weld them to the bottom of the bushing assemblies. At the bottom of the yokes will be a 3/8" plate which will be welded to them.PS 217.jpg
